Cheesecake Brownies Recipe


🍫 Brownie Layer Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup refined sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

🥄 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.


2️⃣ Prepare the Brownie Layer

  • Melt 1/2 cup of butter in a medium saucepan, then remove from heat.
  • Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
  • Whisk in the cocoa powder and flour until smooth.
  • Spread the brownie batter evenly into the prepared pan.

3️⃣ Prepare the Cheesecake Layer

  • In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Carefully spread the cheesecake mixture over the brownie batter in the pan.

4️⃣ Create a Swirl Effect

  • Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the cheesecake and brownie mixtures together to create a marbled effect.

5️⃣ Bake
Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Let the brownies cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
